Mirchi bajji


Besan flour- 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Medium or big size Chili- 10 numbers

For stuffing:

Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Sesame seeds - 1tbsp
Tamarind - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste


Take a green chilli make a slit in the side of each chilli and remove seeds inside the chilli for stuffing.

For stuffing, grind the following ingredients (peanuts, sesame seeds, tamarind, salt, coriander leaves) into a fine paste using very little water. The paste should be in thick paste.

To make batter, mix besan flour, rice flour, baking soda, salt using 1 cup of water . Now stuff the green chilli with the paste one by one and keep it aside on the plate.

Dip one by one-green chilli in the batter; drop them gently into hot oil, deep fry until golden brown in color. Take out from the oil and drain well on absorbent paper towels.
